Window Clings in an RV

Window Clings in an RV - Cheap easy way to update backsplash and add privacy film to your window or door.

As I was endlessly browsing the web for backsplash one day, I came across a privacy window cling that reflects a rainbow into a room (SOLD!). My first thought was to put this on our front door and get rid of the curtain that cover the door and constantly falls down.

Then, Loren had an even better idea. Why not put this over the mirror backsplash in the kitchen? It's cheap, easy, and removable - our favorite qualities in a product! So we did both, and $25 later we have new backsplash (that looks great!) and a pretty stained glass front window that creates a freakin' rainbow.

Here's how we did these updates for only $25!

Stained Glass Window Fantasy (Front Door)

We like our privacy, so we wanted something that let some light in but eliminated the need for a curtain over the window at night. This cling is a semi-privacy film, so it works well for our living room. There are more private ones for bathrooms and bedrooms. We purchased this from Amazon for $11.98 - the exact cling we got is no longer available but this one is pretty much the same.

Here is how we attached it.

Faux Stone Backsplash

We've been searching for an agreeable backsplash since we got the RV (like 6 months ago...but still!). We just couldn't come to a decision. We just couldn't come to a decision nor an arrangement. We wanted something colorful, lightweight, and unique.

I have no idea how many RVs come with mirror backsplash like ours.Though in this case, it made it super easy to install the cling. Just follow the instructions above or on the package - clean, measure, cut, spray, peel, and stick!

We purchased this brick window cling on Amazon for $12.98. The colors are really nice - even better in person! It looks like real backsplash without the hassle and commitment.
